How to outline a customer story with AI
Build a customer-story outline that distinguishes verified outcomes from narrative and assumption.
Agency Script Editorial · Updated
The problem to solve
A customer story becomes less credible when it fills evidence gaps with polished success language. A stronger story explains the starting situation, the work, and the results the team can actually support.
Separate the story from the proof
Build the chronology from project records and interview notes. Then identify the source for each outcome claim. A positive quote can explain a customer’s experience but does not establish a numerical result. If the project produced a useful deliverable without measured business impact yet, tell that story honestly instead of inventing a transformation.
Make review part of the editorial plan
Record which details the customer has approved for public use and which need anonymization. Give the reviewer a short list of factual questions rather than an unstructured request to approve everything. Keep supporting evidence with the internal project record. The public story should be understandable without exposing private client information.
How Agency Script helps
Agency Script’s blog engine can shape approved interview material into a clear customer-story draft. Evidence and permissions supplied with the brief keep the writing grounded in what can actually be published.
Start with a short request and your source material. The paid guide includes the copyable starter, what to provide, and how to review the result on web or desktop.

An evidence map for a fictional project story
Fictional story outline. It is intentionally not presented as a customer testimonial or completed case study.
Illustrative worked example created for this guide. Fictional business and inputs; not a customer result or a verified product execution.
| Story element | Available evidence | Publication treatment |
|---|---|---|
| Starting problem | Interview notes describe unclear project ownership. | Paraphrase after customer review. |
| Work delivered | Approved handoff checklist and responsibility map. | Show a sanitized excerpt. |
| Business result | No reliable before/after metric collected yet. | Describe the delivered change; omit numerical impact. |
What to verify before using the result
- Do not invent quotes, customer identities, or results.
- Customer review and permission may be needed before publication.
