How to plan a social content calendar with AI
Create a manageable publishing calendar that connects audience questions, formats, and review capacity.

The problem to solve
A calendar can be full and still leave the team rushing to invent proof on publishing day. Planning should account for the material you have and the people who can review it.
Plan from capacity and evidence
Choose a cadence the team can sustain. Assign a source to each idea: a recorded explanation, an approved customer story, or a product walkthrough. Leave space for review and revision. If an idea depends on a customer permission that has not arrived, make that dependency visible before the date becomes a commitment.
Give every post a job
A post might explain a problem, answer an objection, or demonstrate a useful output. Variety should come from those jobs rather than arbitrary format quotas. After publication, record what happened and the context around it. One unusually strong post is a useful lead for the next experiment, not proof that every future post should use the same format.

A three-post week for a small service team
Fictional calendar with three available review slots; no posting times or performance promises are asserted.
Illustrative worked example created for this guide. Fictional business and inputs; not a customer result or a verified product execution.
| Slot | Audience job | Source and owner |
|---|---|---|
| Monday | Understand why projects stall at handoff. | Operations lead supplies a reviewed example. |
| Wednesday | See the contents of a useful project brief. | Delivery lead approves a sanitized excerpt. |
| Friday | Decide which handoff to improve first. | Founder reviews a short decision checklist. |
What to verify before using the result
- A proposed calendar is not a confirmed publishing schedule.
- Engagement targets require your own baseline and measurement.
